About Mia

Nurse Practitioner in West Palm Beach, FL

As a nurse practitioner in residential and acute care settings, I believe that everyone deserves optimal healthcare. I am driven by a strong passion for bridging the healthcare disparities gap among the underserved and underrepresented people in my community.

I began my nursing career in 1999 as a licensed practical nurse and gained valuable experience practicing in outpatient/inpatient settings, residential/home care, addiction medicine, and the correctional setting. As an empathetic caregiver and attentive listener, I provide individualized care, support and resources to help patients and their families during this difficult time.

I earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2009. In 2013, I obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from South University, completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Track and a terminal degree, a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, from the University of Miami in 2017.

I strive to evolve continuously and develop my craft as a nurse practitioner while staying updated on the latest healthcare solutions. My nursing expertise, strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent healthcare for the underprivileged people have been the foundation of my nursing career.
I feel honored to have the opportunity to leverage my passion and talent to help others improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
